Excellent Tunisian participation at the Para-Olympic games of Beijing

Exceptional medal harvest in the Beijing games of  2008

The Tunisian handi-sport national team  gave the best performance, in the history of the Tunisian participation in the para-olympic games, and gleaned as many as 21 medals (nine gold, 9 silver and 3 bronze), during the Beijing games, held September 6-17, in the Chinese capital of Beijing.  

Several Tunisian athletes have reached top-class levels and performed so well that they could be ranked among the top world champions.

This performance if illustrated by the high number of medals, at the Beijing games of 2008, with the participation of a total number of 35 athletes (22 men and 13 women) :

- 9 Gold medals
- 9 silver medals
- 3 bronze medals
